Enjoy a nice ride from the city center along the river and outside of Prague. On the way, we’ll pass through Kunratice Forest and ride along the Greenway (Prague–Vienna) bike path. The ride takes about 2.5 hours with a few short stops. The route is mostly flat, with one hill (from 190 to 315 meters).
We’ll arrive in the charming town of Průhonice, home to a beautiful medieval castle built on a rocky hill above the Botič stream, next to a Romanesque chapel that dates back to the 13th century.
We’ll stop for lunch at a traditional Czech restaurant, then take a walk to explore the castle, the botanical garden, and part of the large park. The park was founded in 1885 and covers 250 hectares. It’s a masterpiece of landscape architecture and home to around 1,600 species of local and exotic plants.
We’ll return to Prague by train. The tour ends at the Praha Bike office around 17:00. The whole trip is guided by our friendly and helpful tour leader.
Note: You can use either a regular or electric bike. The ride is at an easy pace — an e-bike won’t make you faster, but it will make the trip easier.
