Terms & Conditions1. Assumption of RiskThe Customer acknowledges that cycling involves inherent risks, including but not limited to accidents, injury, property damage, and theft. The Customer confirms they are able to safely operate the rented bike or e-bike, understand traffic rules, and accept full responsibility for their actions during the rental period.
The Customer also confirms they are physically fit to participate.
The Customer acknowledges that e-bikes provide motor assistance and allow higher speeds, and agrees to operate them with extra caution.
Particular caution is required when
crossing tram tracks, uneven surfaces, cobblestones, or wet roads. Tram tracks should always be crossed at a safe angle and with reduced speed.
2. Condition of the BikeThe Customer confirms that the bike has been received in good working condition and agrees to return it in the same condition, excluding normal wear and tear. Any issues must be reported before departure.
3. Responsibility & LiabilityThe Company rents bicycles in working condition at the time of departure. Customers are required to check the bicycle before leaving the shop and report any issues immediately. The Company is not responsible for accidents, damages, or mechanical problems caused by misuse, falls, improper handling, or damage occurring after departure from the shop.
The Customer is fully responsible for any injury, damage, loss, or theft of the bike and equipment during the rental period, including damage to third parties or property, unless covered by selected insurance under agreed conditions.
All repair or replacement costs may be charged to the Customer unless covered by selected insurance.
The Company is not liable for injuries, damages, or losses resulting from the Customer’s actions, negligence, failure to follow instructions, or improper use of the bicycle/e-bike.
4. Safe & Proper UseThe Customer agrees to use the bike responsibly, follow local traffic regulations, and not use the bike for racing, off-road riding (unless specified), or any inappropriate use.
The Customer must not ride under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any medication that may impair safe riding.
The bike must not be modified or tampered with.
Use of mobile phones or other handheld devices while riding is not allowed in accordance with local traffic regulations, except when used carefully for navigation while securely attached to a phone holder. Riders must remain attentive and follow traffic rules, route conditions, and guide instructions at all times.
5. Tours – Conduct & Group Rules (if applicable)During guided tours, the Customer agrees to follow all instructions given by the guide, ride in a safe and predictable manner, and remain with the group unless otherwise agreed.
If the Customer leaves the group without informing the guide, they do so at their own responsibility.
Failure to follow instructions or unsafe behavior may result in removal from the tour without refund.
6. Helmet UseHelmets are provided and strongly recommended. For participants under 18 years of age, wearing a helmet is mandatory by law.
The Customer accepts responsibility for their decision regarding helmet use.
7. E-bike Use by MinorsUse of e-bikes by persons under 18 years of age is solely at the responsibility of the parent or legal guardian.
The Company does not recommend e-bike use for minors, and any exception is made only upon the explicit request and full responsibility of the supervising adult.
8. Locking & StorageThe Customer agrees to properly secure the bike at all times:
- During the day: the bike must be locked through the frame and rear wheel to a fixed object.
- During the night (approx. 20:00–07:00): the bike must be stored in a secure indoor location (e.g. hotel garage, storage room, or private accommodation).
- Failure to follow these conditions may result in full liability in case of theft or damage.
- In case of theft, the Customer must immediately report the incident to the police and provide a written report.
9. Insurance (if selected)Optional insurance may cover damage and theft under agreed conditions.
Insurance does not cover negligence, improper use, riding under the influence, failure to secure the bike, or overnight outdoor storage.
The Customer remains responsible for any uncovered costs.
10. Breakdown / Technical IssuesIn case of technical issues, the Company will make reasonable efforts to repair or replace the bike. Extra fees or repair costs may apply if the damage is not covered by selected insurance or results from misuse, negligence, or improper handling.
No refunds or compensation are guaranteed for interruptions beyond the Company’s control.
11. Weather ConditionsTours and rentals operate in most weather conditions. Weather alone is not a valid reason for refund or cancellation.
12. Deposit & ChargesThe Customer authorizes the Company to charge any damages, losses, late fees, or unpaid amounts to the provided payment method or deduct them from the deposit.
13. Late ReturnLate returns may result in additional charges. The Customer must inform the Company in advance if a delay is expected.
14. IndemnificationThe Customer agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Company from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from the use of the rented bike or equipment.
15. Agreement- By signing (online or in person), the Customer confirms they have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
