Prague - Dresden route follows the Labe River and connects two important cultural and historical cities. On the way to Dresden you will have chance to visit historical monuments, old castles and towns, and enjoy the beautiful Czech and German nature. This trip is suitable for cyclists of different levels as the bike route goes along the river and there are no up-hills.
Distance from Prague to Dresden is 220 Km.
The tour starts at Praha Bike office, just a few hundreds meters away from bike path to Dresden.
Cycling time takes from 3 to 6 days, so from 40Km up to 80Km per day.
We will give you the necessary equipment, a quality 24 gear bike, a brochure with map and necessary information about the self-guided trip.

So depending on how far you get each day, there no problem booking yourself into a hotel, pension or camping when you arrive. For each bike you need to leave bike security deposit. For deposit you can use cash or credit card-sale slip. Deposit will be return it in the end of rental period.

Bicycle Transportation, Pick up & Delivery Prices.

At the end of your trip you can take a train with the bike and return to Prague.
Bikes can be transported on trains. To check train availability and prices on different connections visit the official web site of the Ministry of Transport www.jizdnirady.cz it also has an English version. There are direct train connections from Dresden to Prague.
We also can arrange the pick up service of the bikes from Dresden to Prague.

Booking Information

In order to book self-guided Prague - Dresden Trip please provide us the fallowing necessary information:
- dates of your planed tour
- your height,so we can choose and prepare suitable bike size for you
- type of frame, male or female
- if you need the panniers or you have your own

Praha Bike reservation and payment conditions:
-In order to process and fix your reservation we require a Reservation deposit.
The Reservation deposit is 1000Kc/per person (around 42 Euro). The remaining payments for any Praha Bike services have to be done
in cash at the Praha Bike office on the day of the rental.
Note: Reservation deposit is non-refundable if the reservation is canceled less than 72 hours before the reserved time.
-The Reservation deposit will be deducted from the total payment in the Praha Bike office on the day of the rental.
-Praha Bike will send a money request to your email address from our Paypal account: This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it
Note: The Reservation deposit is not related to the Bike deposit. The Bike deposit has to be done at Praha Bike office by credit card or
in cash on the day of the rental. The Bike deposit is 6000Kc or 250 Euro/per 1 bike. The Bike Deposit will be returned at the end of the rental period.
